Emily Moïse-Fontenot is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. Emily was employed at Southeastern Louisiana University as a therapist and Assistant Director of the University Counseling Center for 9 years. Since 2016, she has been the owner of Rewired, an agency specializing in trauma, neurodivergence, personality disorders, and Brainspotting in Hammond, Louisiana. Emily has over a decade of supervision, consultation, and trauma-informed experience.
Emily began her training in Brainspotting in 2016. She has completed Phases 1-5 (multiple times), Masterclass, an intensive, parts work, Limbic Countertransference, and Intersectionality and Social Justice. She is a certified Brainspotting practitioner and consultant. Emily is also the past president and current interim vice president of the Southeast Brainspotting Institute.
Emily works from an integrative, brain-body approach. In addition to Brainspotting, she has received extensive training in Transference-focused Psychotherapy, TF-CBT, Trauma-Informed Mindfulness, DBT, EMDR, attachment, and art therapies. She enjoys working with neurodiverse complexity from a Psychodynamic framework.
